"Coulda, Shoulda, Woulda"

Nowadays we're living in a big potencial and tecnological world where inovations and tecnologies are evasing our reality. Certain costums and habits are definitly changed but when it comes to the society' maners don't we really should mainted the same ones?
In time of roailty the ideia of the men as protector of women was much more strong. In fact, I think the word "gentleman" was created by that time.
Actually, there are certain essential rules to make a man one gentleman: they should take off them coats and give it to the ladies when they're cold; they should let them passes first; they should pay the bill when they're going lunch or dinner.
It is part of the main right' maners the true gentleman has to have.
Anyway, I see new tendencies not just in fashion but in these behaviours. As fast as fashion is passing by, boys are having new attitudes. I barely see one of them taking off his coat to give it to a lady or one who actually pays something to his date.
And what matters it's not the obligation of those acts, but the iniciative.
Boys should do it, probably they could do it but the truth is they just don't do it anymore!
Of course there are some lucky ones who can catch the few gentlemans that are wandering the new potencial cities in this world!
The importance of being a gentleman (or being with a gentleman) is not the same as it usted to be and the relevance of the appeareance also seems to adquire new status in the modern metropoles.
In past, we could never choose our soulmate neither the person who we would marry to, so the phisical was just relative. We didn't really had much choice.
For the time we're living the appearence is almost everything. Almost every relashionships starts due to the interest in the other person' look. We see all over the streets flirts and comments just based on what people saw in first place. Everyone comment everyones' outfits, everyone talks about everyone's lives, everyone cares about looking good to please the others. Our actual society are mainely based on looks and appearences. At one time, nothing seems real.
And I know it is impossible to put behind us what is attractive and good looking... but should we really judge the others just by the idea of "what looks like"?
